Yes – provided that there is no additional work or structural issues with the home. The Ancaster Contracting Co. estimator will visit your proposed renovation site to discuss the project. We will provide you with a line-itemed estimate that will specify in detail the nature and materials that will be required in the project.
Yes. Deposits or down payments are generally as follows:
Design & Build = 5% of the construction costs at signing
Renovations = 20% of the construction costs at signing
Three 25% payment installations for the remainder of the project

Typically, you can continue to live in your home while it is being remodeled. It is a fairly simple process to section off the areas of your home that is under renovation. Ancaster Contracting Co. will make sure the construction area is kept clean and does not interfere with your daily life.

These permits protect you by ensuring that the work passes safety standards which keep your home insurable. Our experts can assist you through the permit application process when necessary.
Ancaster Contracting Co. takes extreme care with homeowner furniture and possessions. As part of the preparation process we will streamline your furniture possessions or use an external storage facility for excess items.
Most residential projects last between 1-6 months to complete. A typical example of this would include: main floor renovations, kitchens, basement development, and complete interior/exterior renovations of an existing structure.
Residential Projects under $100,000 = 4-6 months
Residential Projects between $100,000 -$500,000 = 6-8 months
Residential Projects over $500,000 = up to one year
Our payment schedule and daily updates ensure that Ancaster Contracting Co. will be held accountable for the timeline and quality of work.
After visiting your home, Ancaster Contracting Co. will determine what types of tradesperson you need. In most cases Ancaster Contracting Co. believes it is more economical to have two experts onsite who can work more efficiently (due to specialization) and will have the appropriate materials with them.
